Join us on a journey of self-discovery and transformation, inspired by the beauty and wisdom of this land. Welcome home.
What is Yoga?
Yoga is more than just stretching and fancy poses! It's an ancient practice that originated in India thousands of years ago. It combines physical postures (asanas) with breathing exercises (pranayama) and meditation to promote overall well-being.
Here in Cambodia, while we don't have a direct historical link to modern yoga, there are some interesting connections. Have you ever seen the beautiful carvings at Angkor Wat? Some of the dancer and spiritual figures depicted there hold poses that look surprisingly similar to yoga postures! Additionally, the emphasis on mindfulness and breath control in yoga aligns with practices found in Cambodian Buddhist meditation, which has been around for centuries.
Just like these ancient connections, yoga can connect you to your mind, body, and spirit. It's a practice that can be adapted to all ages, abilities, and fitness levels. Whether you're looking to improve your flexibility, reduce stress, or simply find some inner peace, yoga can be a powerful tool for transformation.
Tip for You!
Hey there!
Taking care of yourself is super important, and it's easier than you might think.
Let's break it down into three parts: your physical body, your mind, and your spirit.
01
Physical Body
First things first, move your body! Whether it's yoga, dancing, walking, or anything else you enjoy, find ways to get active every day. Eat nourishing foods that make you feel good inside and out. And don't forget to give yourself plenty of rest and sleep—your body needs it to recharge.
02
Mind
Your mind needs some love too. Practice mindfulness by taking a few deep breaths throughout the day or trying out meditation. Take breaks when you need them and don't be too hard on yourself. Fill your mind with positivity by surrounding yourself with things that make you happy, whether it's music, books, or spending time with loved ones.
03
Spirit
Lastly, nourish your spirit. Connect with nature by spending time outdoors or bringing plants into your home. Find activities that bring you joy and fulfillment, whether it's volunteering, creative hobbies, or spiritual practices like yoga or prayer. And remember to be kind to yourself and others—kindness is good for the soul.
Taking care of yourself is all about finding what works best for you and making time for it every day. You deserve to feel happy, healthy, and balanced in every aspect of your life. So go ahead, start taking care of yourself today!

My husband and have been travelling around Cambodia for three weeks and found this great yoga centre in our last four days in Phnom Penh before we had home to NZ. We finished the last day of 2018 with a great beginners Flow class with Raty. We both loved it, all instruction was in English and very easy to follow! We will definitely be back in the next few days!! Thanks Tanya and Trev Rhodes (the New Zealanders).
